GX Studios

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

1. Who We Are

GX Studios Inc. ("GX Studios," "we," "us"), a company incorporated in California, United States, registered address 1800 Vine St, Los Angeles, CA 90028, is the controller of personal data collected through gxstudios.com (the "Site"). Contact: privacy@gxstudios.com.

This policy covers the Site - a business-to-business website. It does not cover data processed when our games run on an operator's platform; there, the operator is the controller and their privacy policy applies.

2. What We Collect

Data you give us: when you submit a form (Book a Demo, Contact, event submission), book a meeting through our scheduling tool, apply for a role by email, or otherwise contact us, we collect what you provide - typically name, company, work email, company website, market of interest, message content, and, for careers, your CV and its contents.

Data collected automatically: server and security logs (IP address, timestamps, requested pages, user agent) needed to run and protect the Site; a consent-preference cookie recording your cookie choice; and, only if you accept analytics cookies, usage analytics and interaction data as described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect special-category (sensitive) data via the Site and ask that you do not send it to us.

3. Why We Use It and Our Legal Bases

We use personal data to: respond to enquiries and demo requests and conduct pre-contract discussions (legitimate interests; steps prior to a contract); schedule and hold meetings you request (steps prior to a contract); review and display event submissions (legitimate interests); assess job applications (steps prior to a contract; legal obligations); operate, secure, and improve the Site (legitimate interests); measure Site usage via analytics (consent); and comply with legal obligations, including sanctions and export screening where applicable (legal obligation).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use Site data for consumer advertising profiles.

4. Who We Share It With

Service providers acting on our instructions: website hosting and delivery (Vercel), transactional email delivery (Resend), meeting scheduling (Cal.com), content management for our blog (Sanity), and - only with your consent - analytics providers (Google Analytics; Contentsquare (Hotjar)). We share data within our corporate Group (including Vimplay) for the purposes above, and with professional advisers, and with authorities where the law requires. If our business is reorganized or sold, data may transfer as part of that transaction under equivalent protections.

5. International Transfers

We are a US company and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where data of individuals in the EEA/UK is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms implemented by our providers.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry and demo-request data for as long as needed to handle the relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for business records; careers data for the recruitment process and a limited period after; logs for security and diagnostic periods; and consent records for as long as required to evidence your choice. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent (for analytics, by declining or clearing cookies), and to complain to a supervisory authority. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there. To exercise rights, email privacy@gxstudios.com; we will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising rights.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to a business marketing site - encrypted connections, access controls, least-privilege credentials for our providers, and consent-gated analytics. No internet transmission is completely secure; contact privacy@gxstudios.com about any concern.

9. Children

The Site is for adults in a business context. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has provided data, contact privacy@gxstudios.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We will update this policy as our practices or the law change; the date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be reasonably highlighted on the Site.
